It DID snow at the Troc. No! Really! Here's the proof! This image depicts a unique piece of Troc history. At this Holiday party you can see the beloved mirror ball cluster with theatrical snow being dropped in from the skylight above. For decorations around the room, Unit, Miss Carla and staff cut out giant snowflakes from white paper in intricate lace patterns and hung them from the ceiling around the room allowing dots of light from the mirror ball cluster to dance on them and bring them to life. The Trocadero family were given their own winter ballroom, what a beautiful seasonal setting in which to dance the night away.You will also see in the left front of this image, the future co-producers of Remember The Party, Bob (left foreground, heavy dark beard) & Chris (light t shirt, leather vest) enjoying this beautiful moment in time on the dance floor. Dancers would often wear a dampened neckerchief around their necks to keep cool while dancing for 5 or more hours at a stretch. The only pause would be to break for a pee, a drink of water, a rinse of the face, re-wet the neckerchief, then rush right back to the floor and DANCE! The music was so good you would not want to miss a single beat. Look at this picture, does anyone look like they would rather be anywhere else other than on that incredible dance floor with their Troc family sharing this wonderful moment?
